Step 3: How to Complete a Job and get Paid
Part 1: Before the Job - RFI’s, Bidding, and Assignment
When a job becomes available, STRatus sends a job alert to qualified vendors by text/email or a phone call.
What you’ll receive:
-Job location (ZIP code initially)
-Photos or videos of the issue
-Scope summary
-Required response window (ASAP or scheduled response)
Your response should include:
-Availability and ETA to the Zip code
-Estimated price range
-RFIs (Requests for Information) if scope is unclear
Successful Example Response: Available, 45 minutes, 250-300, Was there any water damage?
STRatus Stays may request additional photos or details from a cleaner, guest, or STRatus team member and relay that information back to you.
After reviewing responses, STRatus assigns vendors into a rolling PACE structure:
Primary – first option to respond and perform the job.
Alternate – backup if Primary cannot perform.
Contingency – backup if Primary and Alternate cannot perform.
Emergency – Final vendor if other three are unable to complete the job.
You will only receive the full address and access details once you are assigned as the Primary vendor. If you do not initially get assigned as part of the PACE plan you may still get the job if the initial vendors are unable to complete the work, so have your method of communication open, and be ready to respond!
